About us

         Robert worked for the City of Fort Worth for 32 years; he wanted to have a career change after retirement.  He found the need for power washing services in Fort Worth during his time in the workforce. Robert also co-owned a nightclub for 11 years during this time. 

         Robert founded Nitty Gritty Powerwashing in 2003 he started with 8 employees cleaning Semi Trucks and gas station parking lots. As the business grew he started power washing for larger companies such as Bimbo Bakeries (Mrs.Baird’s), the City of Fort Worth and Arlington, Rodman Construction, and so on.

Later, Robert received his degree in Business Administration from Tarrant County College. 

        Robert and Leslie met in 2007 working on the business together they found that they developed not only a friendship but became partners in life and business.  

         Leslie attended Cleveland State University and later moved to Texas. Leslie owns JoMar Credit Repair,  she’s taught classes for the City of Fort Worth Business Assistance Center and various colleges, TXDOT, and the NAACP. Leslie has published 3 books: JoMar Credit Repair Guide Book, Student Loans, and Commercial Credit.  

        Robert and Leslie have served their community volunteering through church organizations and youth organizations.
